Interactive Drumming Experience

Interactive drumming experiences have become a popular team-building activity for a range of clients including corporate teams, schools, camps and retreats. These events provide a unique and enjoyable experience that helps foster team building, communication, and collaboration among participants.

The use of drums and other percussion instruments allows participants to engage in a fun and rhythmic activity that promotes a sense of unity and fosters team spirit. These events are not only entertaining but also help relieve stress and improve concentration.

Interactive drumming events also promote a sense of inclusion, as everyone can participate regardless of their musical abilities, which in turn boosts team morale and motivation. Overall, interactive drumming events are a fun and effective way to build strong and cohesive teams within any organization.

Singing nigunim (wordless Melodies) and drumming are essential communications that transcend spoken language.

In this corporate staff appreciation event, we presented a combination of live music to set the vibe during dinner and then began our interactive drumming program. We combined the drumming with a Moshe Sobol Band original, "Moshe Nviecha" and had everyone drumming and singing along.

Drumming with people in college, and in university is always a high energy experience. Once the participants realize that this is “cool”, they really give themselves over to it. Letting your guard down, feeling safe to express, formulating bonds with each other, working together as a unit, and feeling spiritually connected, are just some things that the experience offers.

Body language can communicate so much! Words can sometimes just get in the way. Language can also be a barrier. But smiles, movement, and facial expressions go a long way!! As Licensed Creative Arts Therapists, we are trained to utilize body language, interpret subtle cues, and reach one another beyond what words can offer.

After school drumming programs are not only engaging, but also work on a variety of social skills such as tuning into group dynamics, nonverbal communication, turn-taking, attention maintenance, and others.
